Far-flung telly addicts have a gadget – the Slingbox – that allows them to stream their entertainment from a set-top box at home to their laptops, making missing ‘Corrie’ because of a trip to California a thing of the past.

Now, the Spawn HD-720 could do the same for gaming. At Gizmodo.com the resident gamers have been playing with the device, which streams your Xbox 360, PS3 or Wii from any Windows PC, anywhere, in HD. They reckon it’s pricey and glitchy but well worth investigating.
