New figures show that American gamers are increasingly caught in the web.
According to research carried outby the NPD Group, and published in its Entertainment Trends in America report, 14 per cent of US households were subscribed to an online gaming service (as of August this year).The average spend on monthly entertainment subscriptions (which includes online gaming) in the States is alsoup,working out at $115 per capita. No news yet on how the UK measures up.
