High-tech product releases announced the week of November 18 include Samsung's fourth Android-powered phone, a phone made from fine wood and gold, a smartphone for watching TV, a mobile phone that lets you make two-way video calls, high-end computer speakers and a limited-edition camera.

Samsung Galaxy Spica i5700 phone
The Samsung Galaxy Spica i5700 is the fourth Android-powered mobile phone to be released by Samsung. The mobile device is a powerful touch-screen handset that is designed to provide users with a superior multimedia experience. The Samsung Galaxy Spica i5700 packs in an 800MHz processor and is able to play movies formatted in the popular DivX video file format. The phone measures in at just 13.2 mm thick and comes with a 3.2 inch HVGA touch-screen display. The smartphone is available throughout Europe and the Commonwealth of Independent States (CIS) for approximately 99€ on a two year contract (pricing varies by region).

BELLPERRE Finest Woods phone
There is not one piece of plastic to be seen on Bellperre's Finest Woods phone. The handset, styled by luxury phone maker Bellperre, is crafted from woods such as Walnut, Elm or Zebrano sourced from sustainable forests found across the globe. There is not one piece of plastic to be seen on the device that was launched on November 12. Consumers can choose to have their tailor-made Finest Woods phone finished in Steel, Rose Gold, Yellow Gold, Brushed Black or Platinum. The company is also happy to further enhance the phone with your initials, a specially designed logo, personal message or gemstones on request. The phones will be coming to select markets across the world within the next 12 months. Prices start from €1599, with a golden Bellperre valued at around €2049 including taxes.

Nokia 5330 Mobile TV phone
The Nokia 5330 Mobile TV edition is geared towards smartphone users that want to be able to watch TV on their phone. The device combines mobile TV with 3G speed, inbuilt social networking features plus a full range of onboard music and gaming features. The slider handset ships with a 2.4 inch screen and has a headset that includes TV antennae for clear TV reception. The device will be rolled out in selected countries across the world from November 16 with a recommended retail of €155 before taxes and subsidies.

Saygus VPhone
The Android-powered Saygus VPhone will make two-way video calling a reality for consumers in America. The device sports two cameras - a forward facing VA camera to facilitate video calling and a 5MP camera on the back, complete with auto focus and flash. Other features include the ability to tether up to eight computers via WiFi, Bluetooth or USB, a full slide-out QWERTY keyboard, and a 3.5 inch capacity multi touch screen. Official pricing and launch dates are yet to be confirmed, but reports suggest the phone will be released early in 2010.

Bowers & Wilkins MM-1 computer speakers
Audio engineering company Bowers & Wilkins (also known as B&W) launched a set of high-end computer speakers on November 12. The MM-1 speakers stream music and audio via USB, and output a full range of sounds without the need for a subwoofer. The speakers were created by the same team that worked on B&W's legendary Zeppelin iPod speakers and feature cutting-edge audio technology based on years of research. The speakers are compatible with Windows and Mac platforms. The speakers are priced at £379 (€425) and will be released in January 2010.

LEICA M7 Edition Hermès Camera
German-based camera maker Leica Camera AG has teamed up with luxury Parisian fashion house Hermès to create a limited edition camera called the ‘LEICA M7 Edition Hermès'. The limited edition traditional film camera comes bound in luxurious Hermès calf leather and sports silver chrome detailing. Users can choose from one of two distinct colors - ‘Ètoupe' brown or Hermès' signature orange. The series is limited to 100 cameras in each color with each camera carrying an individual number ranging from 1/200 to 200/200. The camera will be available in mid-December for a price of 9,500€.
