Yoox.com Style Gift Guide

The shopping website's free iPhone app creates wish lists for yourself and the ones you're shopping for this Christmas and sends suggestions to friends if you're not sure about a gift. It also ships bought products worldwide and is available in six languages.

NearbyNow, Inc

A real shopping concierge, this free application not only lets you browse through recommendations - based on gender, price or interests - by style magazines and retailers but also finds a shop near you that has the wanted item in stock (US only). NearbyNow will even call the store for you to see if the product is available.

Better Christmas List

This app, selling for $2.99 at the iTunes store, lets you create groups for your friends, family and colleagues, keeps track of your budget and days left till Christmas, and saves your lists for future reference.

A Perfect Gift

The 2009 edition of this application takes things one step further, featuring its own list of 350 gift recommendations that can be searched for by budget, interests or the relationship you have with the recipient. A Perfect Gift costs $1.99 and doesn't need an internet connection.
