With Hallowe'en on the horizon, Leeds Castle, near Maidstone in Kent, is running Amazing Mysteries, Myths and Legends, a series of presentations on supernatural folklore from all over the world. The Leeds International Film Festival runs for most of this month, with premieres and screenings in abundance. Today's programme includes the US version of Dances with Wolves, Barnabo of the Mountains, Thunderheart and a 3-D screening of the 1953 classic It Came From Outer Space.
