Going Dutch
The University of North London university has signed its own 'Maastricht treaty' by linking with the Hoogeschool Maastricht to launch a Master's degree in Comparative European Social Studies at the Dutch town.
The one-year postgraduate course will be taught in English, but will conduct research projects in a country where a language other than their mother tongue is spoken.
Brian Roper, vice-chancellor of the University of North London, said: 'The course is truly European, offering students the opportunity to compare academic and professional topics from different European perspectives.
