A BRACE to improve limb control in children with cerebral palsy has been pioneered by researchers at Guy's and St Thomas's Hospital, London. It encloses the trunk and hips and is also designed to prevent the progressive hip deformity common in children with cerebral palsy More details are available from the Newcomen Centre at Guy's Hospital (071- 955 5000 ext 4631).
