How to throw a hipster wedding, according to an East London hotel

Does the typical white wedding seem a little dull to you? Well, if you’re a bride who dreams of hosting something a little different then one London hotel has got you covered.

As more and more millennials break with tradition to redefine what a wedding should look like, Andaz London Liverpool Street are catering for the ever-growing hipster crowd that’s infiltrating East London.

Based in an area that's brimming with creative inspiration, Andaz is offering hand-crafted ‘graffiti’ invitations created by local street artists, wedding breakfasts supplied by local street food vendors and, wait for it, complimentary ‘his’ and ‘hers' tattoos from an East End tattooist.

As if getting married wasn’t a big enough commitment, according to Pinterest’s 2017 Wedding Report, tattoos to mark the special occasion are up by 116 per cent and, it seems, the perfect way to get Shore-hitched.

It doesn’t stop there though. Post wedding, the team will also organise for the bride’s wedding dress to be transformed into a new outfit by a local designer and, depending on how E1 you want your wedding to be, can even hook you up with local make-up artists, photographers and entertainers. The ceremony will take place in the hotel’s Masonic Temple, which is concealed by heavy, studded doors and the City’s only original Freemason’s meeting lodge.
