Michael Leapman includes me in a list of people who are in favour of the privatisation of Channel 4 ("TV bosses to lobby Labour...", 6 April). I am not.

I did not talk to Michael for this article. I respect his work and can only assume that on this occasion he has slipped in the wrong information.
