Lili Reinhart opens up about anxiety during coronavirus pandemic

Lili Reinhart has spoken about suffering from anxiety during the coronavirus outbreak.

Speaking to self-help author Sylvester McNutt on Instagram Live, the Riverdale star explained that she stresses herself out “all the time”.

“Going to the post office... I really don’t want to drive to the post office,” she joked.

“It gives me anxiety because I don’t want to leave my dog, I don’t want to have to deal with going out in public.”

The 23-year-old went on to say that she finds it “stressful” wearing a mask when she’s out and about, even though she realises why it’s necessary.

“I don’t want to deal with the mask thing,” she said.

“I would [wear a mask], but I don’t want to put myself in a stressful environment. I get myself hyped up about very dumb things.”

Reinhart has been open about her struggles with mental health since being in the public eye.

Last year, she revealed that she was seeing a therapist and urged others to do the same if it was something they felt they needed.

“Therapy is never something to feel ashamed of,” she said in an Instagram Story.

“Everyone can benefit from seeing a therapist. Doesn’t matter how old you are or how ‘proud’ you’re trying to be.

“We are all human. And we all struggle. Don’t suffer in silence. Don’t feel embarrassed to ask for help.”
