Alex Pettyfer and Toni Garrn have tied the knot in a small ceremony in Hamburg, Germany.

The German model confirmed the news on Instagram by posting a photograph of herself and Pettyfer kissing on the day of their wedding.

“Now you really get to call me wifey,” she captioned the image.

For the occasion, Garrn wore a silk champagne coloured gown that grazed the floor paired with a black neck scarf.

Pettyfer, who shared the same photograph on his own Instagram account, wore a dark tweed suit for the big day.

Many of the couple’s celebrity friends have offered their congratulations in the comments of their respective social media posts.

“Congrats!" wrote model Martha Hunt while fellow model Amber Valletta added: “congrats” alongside a series of love heart emojis.

Meanwhile, the actor Patrick Schwarzenegger teased: “So I’m not the flower boy...???”

The couple got engaged in December last year after several months of dating.

In April, Garrn shared a birthday tribute to her fiance on Instagram to celebrate Pettyfer’s 30th birthday.

“I can’t believe its only been a year, I’m so proud of everything you’re doing my baby, and only you know what I mean,” she wrote below a series of snaps of them together.

“Happy 30th Birthday soulmati! After this quarantine, literally spending every minute of every day together, I’m so ready to do eternity with you [sic],” she added.

Garrn announced their engagement on New Year’s Eve last year.

“Christmas Eve the love of my life surprised me on his knees asking me to be his forever,” she captioned a photograph of the duo kissing, in which her engagement ring can be seen.

“He changed my life the day we met and showed me what love really is - so yes I cannot wait to spend every day (well almost) of my life with you.”
