Leona Lewis has shared photographs from her “beautiful” wedding to choreographer Dennis Jauch last month.

The newlyweds tied the knot in a Buddhist ceremony at musician Sting’s estate in Tuscany, Italy.

Guests in attendance included former Sugababes singer Keisha Buchanan and The Voice winner Jermain Jackman.

“It was just the most beautiful day, full of love,” Lewis told Hello!, which has published photographs from the celebration in its forthcoming issue.

“It was so special to be able to bring together everyone we love. There were a lot of tears. The room already had so much good energy and having all the love in there was really powerful.”

The 34-year-old singer and former X Factor winner wore a gown by Israeli designer Mira Zwillinger for the occasion, complete with a sheer and floral-embroidered bodice and a full tulle skirt.

The gown features in Zwillinger's autumn/winter 2019 collection, but Lewis made it her own by removing the silk organza bow that features on the waist of the original garment.

The bride wore two additional outfits for the celebrations, changing into a blush pink tulle gown for dinner, which boasted an entirely vegan menu, and then donning a crystal jumpsuit for the after party.

Lewis shared a photograph from the wedding on Instagram, showing the couple looking lovingly at one another in their wedding garb.

“I will cherish this day for a lifetime,” Lewis wrote in the caption. “Nine years ago this amazing man walked into my life and last weekend we said ‘I do’ surrounded by the people we love.”

The couple met in 2010 when Jauch was a backup dancer on Lewis’ debut world tour.

Lewis revealed that the wedding was intended to take place outside but had to be moved inside due to an unexpected electrical storm.

“From our family style dinner in the vineyards of Tuscany to our ceremony in the small chapel that sheltered us from the storm outside, to the all night singing and dance party, every moment was a gift of love,” Lewis continued.

Speaking to Hello!, Jauch described the poor weather “a sign” from his late father, Lutz, who passed away three weeks before their wedding.

“There couldn’t have been more of a sign,” the groom told the publication. “Dad made sure we all knew he was there.”

The full interview with Leona Lewis is in the new issue of HELLO! out Monday 5 August.
