Little Mix star Leigh-Anne Pinnock and footballer Andre Gray have announced their engagement after four years together.

In 2016, it emerged that Pinnock and Watford FC footballer Gray had started dating.

Four years later, the athlete shared news of their engagement on Instagram, alongside two photographs captured at the scene of his proposal.

In the first picture, Pinnock and Gray are embracing as they face the camera, the bride-to-be wearing a large engagement ring.

The second image shows the footballer down on one knee as Pinnock covers her face with her hands in surprise.

“Let the caption speak for itself this time,” Gray wrote in the caption next to the photographs.

“Hasta la muerte,” the 28-year-old added, translated from Spanish to mean: “Until death.”

Earlier in the day, Pinnock shared a post on Instagram celebrating her four-year anniversary with Gray.

“Happy Anniversary baby... how has four years gone so fast!” the 28-year-old singer wrote.

“All I know is I’m another year more crazy about you. I couldn’t love you harder if I tried.”

Several people wished Pinnock and Gray congratulations on the news of their engagement underneath the footballer’s Instagram post.

“Congrats you beauties,” wrote fellow Little Mix singer Jesy Nelson.

“Mad mad mad CONGRATULATIONS bro,” commented former Love Island contestant Josh Denzel.

Last year when celebrating their three-year anniversary, Pinnock described Gray as “my right arm, my escape from the world and my soulmate”.
