Mazda launches revamped CX-7
Mazda will be selling this revised new version of its sporty CX-7 people carrier/SUV crossover from the beginning of November.
Rather than offering a range of CX-7s as the company does in other markets, Mazda has decided to sell just a single highly-specified version of the car in the UK, the Sport Tech Diesel, priced at £25,785. The car features new 2.2 litre, 173 horsepower diesel engine, revised styling, in particular at the front and standard equipment that includes leather seats, climate control and electrically-adjustable front seats.
Mazda is sticking with four-wheel drive for the CX-7, unlike several other manufactuers who are now offering two-wheel drive versions of their SUVs – the new Kia Sorento, Skoda Yeti and BMW X1, for example, are all expected to sell mainly in non-4x4 form.
