It may not fit into the keto diet, but Olive Garden is bringing back its Never Ending Pasta Pass for its fifth consecutive year - and people are already gearing up to participate in the promotion.

The new and improved version of the pasta pass released this year offers pasta-lovers an unlimited daily intake of carbs - compared to the previous version which only allowed lucky winners eight weeks worth of endless pasta.

Customers can mix-and-match from spaghetti, rigatoni, angel hair, and fettuccine to cavatappi or whole grain - and choose from sauces such as meat sauce, spinach and artichoke, alfredo, or traditional marinara.

And gluten-free pasta fans can also participate in the year-long holiday - as Olive Garden has a gluten-free rotini offering.

However, interested parties will have to move quickly because the unlimited pasta passes sell out extremely fast - last year’s 22,000 pasta passes sold out within a few seconds.

This year, the Italian chain is celebrating its 23rd anniversary selling Never Ending Pasta Bowls by offering 23,000 regular pasta passes to those lucky enough to get them.

For those who find the idea of 365 days of pasta appealing, you can purchase one of the 1,000 passes being sold at 2pm EST on Thursday, August 23 on www.pastapass.com.

The standard-length eight-week Pasta Pass will cost the typical $100 plus tax, while the new annual version will be offered for $300 plus tax.

A typical Never Ending Pasta Bowl at Olive Garden costs $10.99 so if you do happen to get your hands on one of the annual Pasta Passes, it breaks down to less than $1 a day for unlimited bowls of pasta, every single day.

Breadsticks and soup or salad are also included in the mouth-watering deal.

But the company insists the never-ending Pasta Pass is more than a marketing ploy - it is about bringing people together and feeding them what they love.

For the best chances of securing the golden ticket of pasta, an Olive Garden representative told Forbes the chain recommends using multiple devices to log on once the tickets go live.
