Amnesia: A man who turned up in Cardiff suffering from amnesia after he had been robbed in the street has now learnt that he is Barry Robinson of Leeds. His identity was discovered thanks to the names Marian and Claire tattooed on his left forearm, Lucy on his right forearm, Camille and Jenny on his right upper arm and Yvonne on his right wrist - they were his wife, three former wives and two daughters. How he got from Leeds to Cardiff, however, remains a mystery.

Winners: A survey of 2,500 winners of major prizes on the Littlewoods scratchcards lottery game has shown that people named Banks are more likely to win than others named Smith, Jones or Brown. The most common first names among winners were Christine and Tina, and winners were more likely to live in London or the West Midlands than anywhere else in the country.
