The latest show at Elms Lester Painting Rooms marks the first solo exhibition for Andrew McAttee. Suck it and See comprises a controversial and confrontational collection of work and reflects the artist's background in spray can graffiti art while demonstrating how he has utilised his street skills to produce sharp, cartoon-like images which parody the composition of overworked newspapers and film posters. The display will be further enlivened by the use of microphones and radio transmitters, designed by experimental sound technicians Prixicell to relay visitors' comments on McAttee's work.
