Public Services Management Update: No limit

PUBLIC sector unions are ignoring the Government's 1.5 per cent pay limit in their local government wage negotiations, which began this week. The unions say that they have consistently fallen behind private sector pay since 1979, and that a settlement at 1.5 per cent would put them further behind.
