Fashion designer Zac Posen has shared a previously unseen picture taken at Princess Eugenie and Jack Brooksbank’s wedding reception.

On 12 October 2018, Princess Eugenie and her partner of seven years, wine merchant Mr Brooksbank, wed at St George's Chapel at Windsor Castle.

The bride wore an ivory dress created by Peter Pilotto and Christopher de Vos for the ceremony, who designed the gown with an open back so as to not conceal the scar she acquired from the scoliosis operation she underwent when she was 12 years old.

For the wedding reception, Princess Eugenie changed into silk, peach gown designed by Posen, featuring a cape at the back.

Posen, who announced the closure of his eponymous fashion label in November 2019, commemorated Princess Eugenie and Mr Brooksbank’s second wedding anniversary by sharing a previously unseen photograph from the reception on Instagram.

The picture shows the newlywed couple looking to the side as they pose for a photograph, Mr Brooksbank with his arm around Princess Eugenie.

“Happiest 2nd Anniversary dear Princess Eugenie and Jack!” Posen wrote in the caption.

“It was so special creating this gown for this wonderful moment in your life, being with you and the family on the magnificent magical day, I will remember forever.”

The fashion designer added: “Wishing you both continued love and happiness always with your new baby angel on the way.”

In September, it was announced that Princess Eugenie and Mr Brooksbank are expecting their first child together, due in early 2021.

"Her Royal Highness Princess Eugenie and Mr Jack Brooksbank are very pleased to announce that they are expecting a baby in early 2021,” a statement shared by the royal family official Twitter account said.

"The Duke of York and Sarah, Duchess of York, Mr and Mrs George Brooksbank, The Queen and The Duke of Edinburgh are delighted with the news."
