The Royal Mail has unveiled a new series of stamps to mark the 60th anniversary of Coronation Street.
A total of 12 stamps have been created to honour the occasion, with eight of them dedicated to the soap opera’s most famous duos.
Characters featured on the stamps include: Ena Sharples and Elsie Tanner; Stan and Hilda Ogden; Vera and Jack Duckworth; Deirdre and Ken Barlow; Rita Tanner and Norris Cole; Hayley and Roy Cropper; Sunita and Dev Alahan; and Tracy and Steve McDonald.
Each stamp also comes with a quote that “converys the essence of each relationship”, the Royal Mail said in a statement.
Additionally, there are four further stamps presented in a miniature sheet designed to celebrate the characters that worked behind the bar at Rovers Return, the famous pub featured in the soap opera.
The characters featured on these four stamps are Bet Lynch, Raquel Watts, Liz McDonald, and Gemma Winter.
In terms of prices, you can purchase the full set of 12 stamps online in a Presentation Pack for £14.20.
Alternatively, you can purchase the eight stamps featuring beloved duos from the show for £8.92.
You can also buy a framed stamp sheet featuring a selection of the stamps for £29.99 along with several other varieties.
Coronation Street is the world’s longest-running television continuing drama, with more than 10,000 episodes featuring more than 5,000 characters since its advent.
