SO YOU THINK YOU'RE FUNNY?

Ever gone to a comedy club and been less than impressed with the acts? Thought you could do better? Well now there's a chance to prove yourself (or not) with the So You Think You're Funny? competition at this year's Edinburgh Festival, sponsored by Channel 4 and the Gilded Balloon. Established comedians are among the judges who decide if you're a dead- beat or next year's hot ticket. With cash prizes and past winners including Bruce Morton, Phil Kay and Rhona Cameron (above right), can you resist the challenge?
