Jean shopping is nothing short of a nightmare. The sizes change between stores, the lighting in dressing rooms is never flattering, and sometimes you can never find the right size.

But clothing store Topshop has just changed denim shopping forever by introducing in-between sizes.

In the past, jean shopping meant giving up after one size was too small but going up a size would result in skinny jeans that weren’t so skinny.

But now, women will finally be able to find the jean size that fits just right, thanks to the British retailer’s sizing of the future.

The change comes as part of Topshop’s new Denim Campaign, which just launched, and features three new styles of jean.

But more important than the creation of the New Boyfriend and the Wide are the creation of half-sizes - which will be offered in two washes, blue or black.

According to Topshop's website, the half-sizes are available in sizes W25, W27, W29 and W31, and for the styles Jamie, Joni, Mom, Straight, Jamie Flare, and crop.

The best part? The in-between sizes are already for sale on Topshop’s website and in stores - meaning the perfect pair of jeans is finally in reach.

And Topshop jeans are relatively inexpensive, with some styles available for £36.

With jeans that actually fit, maybe now we won’t always choose our leggings over our denim.

Let’s hope all designers follow Topshop’s lead.
