Tuesday's offer...

A Dance to the Music of Time is a sumptuous adaptation of Anthony Powell's epic literary masterpiece.

This star-studded drama was broadcast last year on Channel 4, and has just been released on video. Within Kenneth Widmerpool's (Simon Russell Beale) social circle is a group of English eccentrics, played by Edward Fox, Sir John Gielgud, Miranda Richardson, Zoe Wanamaker, Paul Rhys, James Purefoy, Claire Skinner and Alan Bennett.

The series explores upper class and bohemian England, spanning almost a century from the early Twenties to modern times. Full of comical characters, their friendships, adultery, ambition and failure - even murder - are set against a historical backdrop of social, political and artistic life.

`The Independent' is offering 10 sets of the video and CD for the first readers to write their name and address on a postcard and send it to: `Eye'/A Dance to the Music of Time Offer, Salix House, Woodside Close, Off Lower Road, Chalfont St Peter, Bucks, SL9 9HN.
