THE independent adviser Hill Martin has launched a service to help people sort out their finances before a divorce.

The Matrimonial Litigation Support Service will draw up an inventory of an individual's assets and likely financial needs. This can be used in negotiation of the divorce settlement. Hill Martin charges fees for the service and these vary depending on the work involved. The firm says they can range from pounds 500 to pounds 1,500.
