Airliner crashes in Sharjah
One person survived after an airliner with 86 people on board crashed yesterday near an airport in the United Arab Emirates. The Tu- 154 was en route from Tajikistan to Sharjah, UAE. Emergency teams were en route to the crash site.
The plane was carrying 77 passengers and nine crew. Local reports say the plane went down in a desert outside the airport of Sharjah, one of the seven emirates. AP, Dubai
