Arrest in headless body hunt
A man was being questioned last night in connection with the death of a teenager whose headless body was found dumped in a bin in Blackpool. But detectives stressed they were still hunting for whoever might have killed Christopher Hartley, 17, and dismembered his corpse. The 29- year-old man being held in Blackpool was arrested in Salford, Greater Manchester, on Wednesday night.
Christopher, from Burnley, Lancashire, had held jobs at the Pleasure Beach funfair and on stalls in the resort. Tests have so far been unable to show how he died. His head has not been found.
