STOCKS ENDED a seven-session losing streak to recover some of the lost ground.

The Hang Seng Index ended up 183.32 points or 1.35 per cent at 13,758.89 after losing 931.17 points or 6.42 per cent over the previous trading sessions.

Traders said the seven-session sell-off had finally dragged bargain-hunters into the market. "Today we bounced back. It's quite normal," said William Li stock market analyst at Celestial Asia Securities.
