STOCKS CLOSED flat as the market yawned at news of the government's joint venture theme park with Walt Disney, and investors hugged the sidelines. The Hang Seng Index finished up 0.1 per cent at 13,335.8.

Traders said an expected US rate rise in two weeks' time was also keeping the brakes on. Turnover in the top five blue chips representing just over 37 per cent of the broader market turnover as a whole.
