BP fined for rigging oil market
BRITISH PETROLEUM was yesterday fined a record pounds 125,000 for rigging the oil market in July. The International Petroleum Exchange also ordered the oil giant to repay $16,760, representing the profit it had made manipulating the market and the Exchange's own costs. BP said the four employees involved had been disciplined.
