Henlys receives pounds 8.8m bus order
Henlys Group, the subject of an unwelcome pounds 25m bid from the motor dealer T Cowie, has won its biggest bus-building contract. Badgerline Group has placed an pounds 8.8m order with its Plaxton subsidiary for 396 buses.
Canberra deficit
In its budget on 18 August the Australian government is expected to report a sharp increase in its budget deficit from Adollars 9.3bn to between Adollars 14bn and Adollars 15bn in 1992/3 because of reduced income and increased measures for job creation.
