Chinese recall
CHINESE banks have recalled more than pounds 8bn in unauthorised loans in the past month, in the first steps towards bringing order to China's financial system, an official report said yesterday. Zhou Zhenqing, deputy governor of the People's Bank of China, the central bank, said he wanted a national borrowing and lending centre to be set up.
