Dwyer, the property firm, deepened pre-tax losses from pounds 7.1m to pounds 7.7m in the year to 30 September. Loss per share worsened to 30.18p (LPS 25.47p). It is to raise pounds 12.3m via a one-for-one rights issue of 25.6 million shares at 50p per share.

Lynx Holdings, the computer hardware and sofware peripherals group, advanced from pounds 115,000 to pounds 619,000 pre-tax profit for the year to 30 September. Turnover grew to pounds 10.8m ( pounds 7.45m). EPS 4.27p (1.34p). Total dividend 1.25p (1p). The company is also making two acquisitions.

Jury's Hotel lifted pre-tax profits to Ir pounds 2.8m (Ir pounds 2.15m) in the six months to 31 October on turnover of Ir pounds 17.6m (Ir pounds 14.5m). EPS Ir10.1p (Ir7.6p). Dividend held at Ir2p.

Black Arrow, the office furniture supplier, slumped from pounds 1.55m to pounds 346,000 pre-tax profit in the six months to 30 September, affected by a drop in turnover to pounds 7.6m ( pounds 11.7m). Earnings per share 0.84p (3.82p). Dividend 0.5p (1p).

MMI, which markets financial products, returned pounds 201,000 pre-tax profits (loss pounds 282,000) in the six months to 31 August. EPS 0.47p (LPS 2.15p). No dividend.
