DEHUMIDIFIERS designed for use in industry have found a new application in ostrich breeding. Ostrich eggs worth pounds 200 each need low humidity to hatch and double their value. Hangland Farm at Banbury, Oxfordshire, was having problems keeping the moisture levels in its incubating room low enough. It called in Munters Moisture Control Services, which created the perfect climate by installing a dehumidifier usually specified for controlling the atmosphere in factories.
