Gold award

SENIOR directors of theatre group Apollo Leisure have paid themselves in gold bars worth more than pounds 200,000 to avoid National Insurance payments, it was reported yesterday. Apollo owns and manages theatres across Britain. Its directors are still liable to pay income tax.
