Hunt on for chief executive for Park Food

Park Food, the Birkenhead-based Christmas hampers group, said it was seeking to recruit a chief executive over the next few months. Peter Johnson, chairman and controlling shareholder, said the winning candidate would probably come from outside the group. Announcing a 1.1 per cent rise in pre-tax profits to pounds 9.61m for the year to March, he said the group had put behind it the problems of last year when it faced a management buy-out attempt.
