IEA sees higher demand for oil
Oil prices rose yesterday on reports of buoyant demand. The International Energy Agency's monthly report says demand in the second quarter will increase by 1.1 million barrels a day compared with the same period last year, to 67.3 million, and that demand for 1995 will be 69.2 million barrels a day. At one point yesterday the price of June Brent was up by almost 15 cents to $19.06
