Easter Monday 2015 opening hours: When do Sainsbury's, Tesco and Morrisons open today?
There is one day left of the long bank holiday weekend to hit the shops
Retailers will be hoping for a boost to sales this weekend as shoppers hit the high streets to make the most of their four day offs.
Easter weekend is traditionally the first major shopping weekend of the year. An earlier Easter – like this year – is better for retailers, kickstarting the spring shopping season. Good Friday and Easter Sunday tend to be quieter than Easter Saturday.
Bad weather can dampen sales. But with better weather expected Monday, the shops will be hoping to see plenty of traffic through their doors.
