Elliott Advisor's founder Paul Singer suffers rare setback
Elliott Advisor’s billionaire founder Paul Singer suffered a rare fall in the value of one of his hedge funds in the first quarter of 2015, it has emerged.
Mr Singer, who is best known for waging war with the Argentinian government over its defaulted debt, saw the value of his Elliott International vehicle fall 0.5 per cent.
According to reports, it is the first time one of his hedge funds has been down in three years.
