Finance director to take over top job at Channel Tunnel rail link builder

Mark Bayley, the finance director at London & Continental Railways (LCR), has been appointed chief executive of the Channel Tunnel rail link builder. The current chief executive, Rob Holden, will leave LCR at the end of the month to take over the £16bn London Crossrail project.

The Nuclear Decommissioning Authority is also understood to be looking for a new chief executive with construction expertise.
