FirstGroup poaches FD from easyJet

Firstgroup named easyJet's Jeff Carr as its new finance director yesterday.

The low-cost airline said it would begin the search immediately for a replacement for Mr Carr, its finance director since 2005. FirstGroup said Mr Carr, who has also held senior roles at AB Foods and Reckitt Benckiser, was expected to join in the next few months.

FirstGroup also said its chief operating officer, Dean Finch, was leaving to become chief executive of Tube Lines, which is responsible for the Jubilee, Northern and Piccadilly lines in London.
