Dutch architect Rem D Koolhaas, above, has teamed up with Galahad JD Clark – the seventh generation of the Clarks shoes family – to open a chain of footwear shops.

Koolhaas, not to be confused with his uncle, architect Rem Koolhaas, began a career in architecture before settling on design. He and Clark have created United Nude – footwear with a design focus. Currently, it has two stores – one in London's Covent Garden, and one in Amsterdam.

Property agent Michael Horwitz & Co is searching for a second site in London as well as stores in New York and Paris. United Nude sells shoes for between £60 and £700.
