The Administrator for The Reader's Digest Association has received indicative offers from nine suitors which are looking to buy the whole business.
Philip Sykes, who is overseeing the process at Moore Stephens, said he had cut the list of interested parties from 35 and would now start meeting the remaining companies and evaluate their bids.
Reader's Digest Association went into administration last month.
