Simon Bragg has returned as chief executive of the City stockbroker Oriel Securities.

Oriel said Mr Bragg will replace David Knox, who is leaving because of "divergent strategic ambitions". David Robins will remain chairman.

Mr Bragg, who left the company last year to spend more time with his family, said: "Oriel Securities is a first-class advisory firm and I am delighted to have been asked to lead it once more."
