Rolls-Royce whistleblower 'cheated'

Dick Taylor, the whistleblower who raised concerns over bribery allegations at Rolls-Royce, says he felt "cheated" by his experience as an employee of the company.

Mr Taylor said that he was "depressed" having been told he risked redundancy after he claimed a colleague in Indonesia was misusing a company expense account.

He subsequently took early retirement and posted his allegations online, which were picked up by the Serious Fraud Office (SFO) and prompted Rolls-Royce to commission its own investigation, which found "matters of concern" in Indonesia, China and other markets.

Rolls-Royce has passed on its findings to the SFO.
