Marmaduke Hussey (above), the former chairman of the BBC's board of governors, has joined MAID, the on-line business information provider, as a non-executive director on an annual salary of pounds 15,000. Mr Hussey started his media career in 1949 with Associated Newspapers, and went on to become a director at Times Newspapers between 1982 and 1986 before joining the BBC Diary, page 20
