Personal finance: Name that company
The first five correct answers out of the hat each week win a super de luxe, black "FOOL" baseball cap.
This computer software company is one of the biggest businesses in the world (if not the biggest). This week, despite its immense size, the company reported profits for the second quarter up 74 per cent compared to the same quarter last year, beating all estimates for a fifth quarter in a row.
Its net profit margin is the highest of any major company at over 40 per cent. The chairman has a 20.8 per cent stake and with the company valued at over $400bn, this means that he could soon become the world's first $100bn man. Name the company and its boss. E-mail your answer to UKColumn@fool.com or send it by post to Motley Fool Trivia, The Independent on Sunday, 1 Canada Square, Canary Wharf, E14 5DL.
Last week's answer: Brian Souter, Stagecoach Holdings.
