Profits for Jacques Vert brings increased dividend
New ranges for larger and younger women combined with a sharp rise in the number of concessions helped Jacques Vert, the womenswear manufacturer and retailer, to double profit before tax to pounds 2.09m in the year to April, according to Alan Green, chairman (right, with managing director David Tiedeman). The rise was reflected in a 50 per cent increase in the dividend to 4.5p.
