Virus software is channelled to TV
S&S International, a British software firm that specialises in computer security, has a new distribution channel in Italy. It has made an agreement with RAI, the state television company, to broadcast its anti- virus software as part of the television signal. Corporate and domestic subscribers need to adapt their computers to receive the transmissions, but S&S maintains that the system is cheap and timely.
