Our article "NHS accused over mentally ill killers" (15 January) referred to , the man mauled when he climbed into London Zoo's lion enclosure. We wish to make it clear no suggestion was intended that Mr Silcock had killed anyone. We apologise to Mr Silcock for any distress caused.
