Divers hunt for killer terrapins
A rural garden centre in Cheslyn Hay, Staffordshire, has called
in specialist divers to catch a number of giant South American red-eared terrapins which have been ravaging its fish stocks. The terrapins - believed to have been dumped in the garden centre's lakes after outgrowing an aquarium - are thought to have devoured up to pounds 2,000 worth of koi carp and golden rudd.
